Remote Control Units

Remote Control Units are available for all air skate module systems - whether purchased in 4 or 6 skate kits or custom built to your own load specification. These Remote Units make the job operation easier and allow the operator to have full control over the load moving process.

Each individual skate module can be controlled from the Remote Unit offering the advantage of being able to vary the air pressure to the skate module as may be necessary when moving a load of unequal weight distribution, or switching to loads of different and uneven weights.

Remote Control Units require clean, filtered, oil-free air for trouble-free operation. The main air supply should be at least 5 bar for consistent load bearing operation.

Shown here is a typical "RC" remote control unit with hand-held pendant.

This style remote control unit allows the unit to travel with the load while the air flow is controlled from the hand-held pendant.

Above: A typical 4 station remote control unit complete with hand-held control pendant

A 4 station remote control unit is supplied with:

  • Control box enclosure with lifting handles.
  • Remote control pendant with 4.5 metres of hose.
  • Four air regulators with manifold.

An alternative to the "RC" unit is the Grey "ARC" remote control. This model comes standard with the low profile aluminium air skate kit.

The "ARC" unit is a little different in that it does not have a hand-held pendant control. However it does have the control accessible on the top of the unit, and includes a set of casters that allow it to trail the load when in motion.

Please do not hesitate to contact us for more information on these remote control units.
